Your AI employees

Voice, greeting and AI disclosure

Pick your AI employee's voice, language and speed, and edit its greeting. Every caller is told it's an AI and that the call is transcribed.

You can change how your AI employee sounds on its Setup tab, under On the phone.

Voice

Press play to hear each voice, then pick one. There are dozens, with American, British, Australian, Filipino and Indian accents in English, and several Spanish accents.

You can also set:

  • Language: English (US) or Spanish (US). This is the language it listens and speaks in. Try anything other than English on a test call first.
  • Speaking speed: Slower, Normal or Faster. Slower suits callers who need more time; Faster keeps calls short.
  • How it comes across: warm, professional, upbeat or calm.
  • How much it says at a time: Brief, Balanced or Thorough.

Changing the voice doesn't undo training.

Greeting

Under Greeting, edit what it says when it picks up. Press play to hear it. If you rename your employee, change the greeting too, so callers hear the new name.

What every caller is told

Two notices are always part of the greeting:

  • That the caller is talking to an AI assistant. If your greeting doesn't already say so, "I'm an AI assistant." is added.
  • That the call is transcribed. "This call is transcribed." is added unless your greeting already says the call is transcribed or recorded.

These are added for you, and you can't remove them. Some US states require callers to be told they're talking to an AI, or that a call is being recorded or transcribed. Keep saying it's an AI assistant if you rewrite the greeting.

Nerro doesn't record call audio. It keeps a text transcript, which you can see on each call. You choose how long it's kept in Privacy & data.

Goodbye

Under Goodbye, edit what it says before hanging up.
