Connect your calendar

Connect Google Calendar or Outlook so your busy times block bookings and your AI employee's bookings appear in your calendar.

Your AI employee books into its own schedule inside your opening hours. Connect your calendar, and it also avoids the times you're busy.

Connecting

Go to Connectors, or press Connect a calendar on the Calendar page. You can connect:

  • Google Calendar
  • Outlook Calendar, for an Outlook or Microsoft 365 calendar

One calendar can be connected per business. If a connection isn't available on your account yet, Connectors says so. Nothing there says connected until it actually is.

What Nerro reads and writes

  • Your busy times block bookings. Only start and end times are read; event details stay in your calendar.
  • Bookings appear in your calendar. When your AI employee books, moves or cancels an appointment, the change shows up there.

Nerro's own bookings are the record. If your calendar can't be updated for some reason, what the caller was told doesn't change.

If you remove Nerro's access from your Google or Microsoft account, Nerro asks you to reconnect to keep syncing.

The Calendar page

The Calendar page shows what your AI employees booked, and when you're busy in your connected calendar. You can:

  • See open start times for a day.
  • Add a booking with New booking.
  • Move or cancel a booking. A cancelled time opens up for callers again.
  • Open the call a booking came from.

The customer isn't texted about a change you make there, so let them know yourself.

Opening hours come first

Your AI employee only books when you're open. Set your hours in Hours & booking. It can't book until your opening hours are confirmed.
