Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Nerro when you use the service. Last updated October 19, 2026.
1. Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using Nerro, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Nerro for a business, you confirm you can agree on that business's behalf. Nerro is for businesses, and you must be at least 18.
2. What Nerro provides
Nerro lets a business set up AI employees that answer and return phone calls, answer questions from information the business provides, take messages, book appointments, send texts and hand calls to a person. Nerro is in early access: features may change, and we'll tell you about significant changes.
3. Your account
Keep your login details secure and tell us at support@nerro.si if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what happens in your account, including what team members you invite do.
4. What you're responsible for
- Following the law where you and your callers are. This includes rules on telling callers they're speaking to an AI, consent to transcribe calls, calling and texting people (such as the US Telephone Consumer Protection Act), and anything specific to your industry.
- Accurate information. Your AI employee answers from the business details, hours, prices and policies you give it. Keep them correct.
- Telling your callers. Your AI employee says it is an AI assistant when it answers. If your callers need any further notice (for example that calls are transcribed), you're responsible for giving it.
- Reviewing important outcomes. Check bookings, messages and approvals in the app, and stay reachable for calls your AI employee hands to a person.
5. What you must not use Nerro for
- Emergencies. Nerro is not an emergency service and is not a replacement for 911. Your AI employee tells callers with a real emergency to call 911, but it can't guarantee anyone's safety.
- Health information. Nerro is not HIPAA-compliant yet and doesn't sign Business Associate Agreements. Don't use it to handle protected health information, for example as a medical or dental practice.
- Cold calling or bought lists. Only call or text people who contacted your business or agreed to be contacted by it. No purchased, rented or scraped lists, no random or sequential dialing, and no rotating numbers to avoid being identified.
- Anything unlawful, deceptive or harmful. This includes impersonating someone, collecting payment card numbers or passwords on calls, harassing anyone, or trying to break into or overload Nerro.
6. Calling and texting for your business
When your AI employee calls or texts someone for you (outbound), your business is the caller. Nerro provides the tools; you decide who is contacted, when, and what the call is for. Before your first outbound call, an owner or admin agrees to this section, and we record who agreed and when.
- Consent. You have each person's consent of the kind the law requires before they are called or texted, including prior express written consent for sales calls by an artificial (AI) voice, and you can show it if asked. Consent you collect yourself and confirm to us is your responsibility.
- Do Not Call and registrations. You honor the National Do Not Call Registry and your own do-not-call list, and hold any state telemarketing registrations, bonds or licenses that apply to your business.
- Who you are. The business details you give us are true, and you keep them up to date. We check them before outbound calling starts and may check them again.
- Opt-outs. When someone asks not to be contacted again, Nerro adds them to your do-not-call list. You must not contact them again by any other means against that request.
- What Nerro enforces. Nerro limits calling hours and the number of calls, has your AI employee say it's an AI calling for your business, and refuses calls without a consent record. These are safeguards, not legal advice, and they don't replace your own obligations.
- Reports and investigations. If a call is reported to us, a carrier or a regulator, we may pause outbound calling on your account straight away, share your business details and call records with phone carriers, the industry traceback group or authorities as the law requires, and ask you for your consent records. You agree to cooperate.
7. AI can make mistakes
Your AI employee follows the setup you give it, and Nerro only reports an action (like a booking) as done when the system behind it confirms it. Even so, AI can misunderstand a caller or give an incomplete answer. It doesn't give legal, medical or financial advice. You decide what it may do, and you can change, pause or turn it off at any time.
8. Phone numbers and connected tools
Phone numbers come through our telephone providers. A number Nerro provides stays assigned to you while your account is active, and you can ask us to move (port) it to another provider while your account is open. If you close your account or stop paying once billing is on, we may release the number after giving you notice, and it may then be given to someone else.
If you connect a number or account you own (such as your calendar, CRM, job or property management software, Slack or Zapier), that provider's own terms also apply, it receives the information you choose to send it, and you can disconnect it at any time.
9. Examples on our website
The businesses, callers, calls and screens shown on our website are illustrative examples, not real customers or real calls.
10. Fees
Early access and the trial. Until billing is switched on, Nerro is free and you won't be charged. Before it switches on, we'll email account owners at least 14 days in advance with the prices. The free trial lasts 3 days and up to 10 answered calls, needs no card, and it never turns into a paid plan on its own: you're only charged if you choose a plan.
Paid plans. When you choose a plan, you authorize us (through our payment processor) to charge your payment method the plan's monthly price in advance, and it renews automatically each month until you cancel. Minutes beyond your plan's included amount are billed afterwards at the per-minute rate shown on the Pricing page, up to any monthly limit you set in Billing. Prices don't include taxes, which we add where the law requires.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in Billing, online and in a few clicks. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you've paid for, and isn't renewed after that. Payments already made aren't refunded, except where the law requires it.
Price changes and missed payments. If our prices change, we'll email account owners at least 30 days in advance, and the plan you're on keeps its price: new prices apply only to plans chosen after the change. If a payment fails, we'll tell you and may pause the service until it's paid.
11. Your data
Your business information, call transcripts and records belong to you. You let us use them only to run, secure and improve Nerro for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. For calls, we process information on your behalf as your service provider. We don't sell it, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't use your call transcripts to train AI models. You can export or ask us to delete your data, and if you need a data processing agreement (for example under the GDPR), email us.
Nerro itself (the software, its design and our brand) belongs to us. We give you the right to use it under these terms while your account is open. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
12. Suspending or ending your account
You can stop using Nerro and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts callers or others at risk, or isn't paid once billing starts. Where we can, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix it.
13. Disclaimers and limits
Nerro is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every call will be answered or handled correctly. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it, or US$100 if that's more. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
14. Your responsibility for claims (indemnity)
You agree to defend Nerro and cover its losses, including fines, settlements, judgments and reasonable legal fees, from claims by anyone (including callers, carriers and regulators) that arise from your calls or texts, the people you chose to contact, the consent you collected or confirmed, the information you gave us, or your use of Nerro against the law or these terms. This doesn't apply to losses caused by Nerro's own breach of these terms.
15. If we disagree
Tell us first at support@nerro.si, and we'll both try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days before either of us goes to court. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where Nerro has its principal office, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes go to the courts there, unless the law where you are gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
16. General
- These terms, the Privacy Policy and anything you agree to in the app (such as the calling terms above) are the whole agreement between you and Nerro about the service.
- If a part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something straight away, we haven't given up the right to.
- You can't transfer your account or these terms without our written agreement. We may transfer them as part of a merger, sale or reorganization.
- Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by things outside our reasonable control, such as outages at a telephone carrier or cloud provider, natural disasters or changes in the law.
- We send notices to the email address on your account. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as fees owed, your data, limits of liability and indemnity) continue after your account closes.
17. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we update the date above. For significant changes, we email account owners before they take effect. Continuing to use Nerro after that means you accept the new terms.
