Billing and usage

Where to see your plan, usage and invoices, how to set a limit on extra minutes, and how plan changes will work once billing is on.

Billing isn't switched on yet, so nothing has been or will be charged until it is. These pages show how it will work, and what you've used so far.

The billing pages

In Settings, under Billing:

  • Plan: your plan, what it includes, and the plans you can switch to.
  • Usage: what's been used in this billing period, or in your trial. It shows call minutes day by day (calls per day during the trial) and which employee took the calls. You can download it as a CSV. Training calls this month are on Plan.
  • Invoices & payment: your card, the details on your invoices, and every invoice.

What counts as a minute

Time on real calls your AI employees answer or place, rounded up to the whole minute per call. Practice calls and training never use minutes. Calls where nobody speaks, and recorded robocalls your AI employee hangs up on, aren't counted either. Plan prices are on the pricing page.

Limiting extra minutes

By default, calls keep being answered at your plan's per-minute rate. On a paid plan, under Extra minutes on the Plan page, you can choose:

  • No limit (recommended): never miss a call.
  • Up to $25, $50, $100 or $250 of extra minutes.
  • Stop at your included minutes.

At the limit, your AI employee stops answering. Callers hear that the line can't take calls right now, the call shows as missed, and owners and admins get an email. The limit is checked before each call starts, so the last call can run slightly past it. Owners and admins can change the limit.

When you'll be charged

Monthly, on your renewal date, for the month ahead. Extra minutes from the month that just ended are added to that same invoice as their own line.

Changing or cancelling

  • Only the account owner can switch plans.
  • Switch any time. You pay, or get credit, only for the days left in the period, and your renewal date stays the same.
  • Moving to a plan with fewer AI employees, numbers or people: you choose which to keep first.
  • Cancel any time. The plan keeps working to the end of the period you've paid for.

If a renewal payment fails, your plan keeps answering calls for 7 days while the card is retried.
