Privacy and your data

Go to Settings → Privacy & data to control what Nerro keeps and how it uses AI.

Call transcripts

Nerro doesn't record call audio. It keeps a text transcript of each call so you can see what happened.

Under Keep call transcripts for, choose 30 days, 90 days, 6 months, 1 year or 2 years. After that, a call's transcript and step-by-step log are deleted. The call itself (date, length, outcome and summary) stays in your history and analytics.

AI processing

Nerro builds, trains and runs your AI employees with outside AI services. When you set up an employee, add knowledge, run training or a test call, or start a callback, Nerro sends what you entered and the conversation to them. The page lists which companies are used today.

Nerro asks for your OK before it does this, and asks again if the list of companies changes. Turn Allow AI processing off any time; it only affects you. With it off, you can still see calls, leads and settings, but can't set up, train or test AI employees. Live AI employees keep answering calls; pause them to stop that.

Nerro doesn't use your calls to train AI models.

Download your data

Owners and admins can press Download data to get one JSON file with your business details, AI employees, phone numbers, calls and transcripts, leads, appointments and knowledge.

Deleting your login

Delete your login removes you from this business and deletes your Nerro login. The business, its calls and its AI employees stay; your name comes off what you did.

Closing the business

Only the owner can choose Close business permanently. It:

• Releases its phone numbers. They stop working and may not be recoverable.
• Cancels any subscription.
• Permanently deletes its AI employees, calls, transcripts, leads, appointments and knowledge.

Teammates who don't belong to another business lose their login. This can't be undone. If your business line forwards to a Nerro number, turn forwarding off first.
